CCW Permit Course Itinerary

Handgun Workshop

Directions from Kramer Junction (Intersection of Highways 395 and 58) in the city of Boron, CA.

  • Head North on Highway 395 for just over 4 miles (past the end of the solar station)
  • Turn right on Palmetto St. (which turns into Balsamo Rd.)
  • Follow the signs. 
  • Make a right at the TRB sign.
  • Proceed until you see the range.

All students must bring:

  • Folding/camping chair
  • 300 rounds ammunition
  • Firearms
  • Holster & Mag Holster
  • At least 3 magazines
  • Food/Snacks

Defensive Combat Rifle Workshop – Beginner

FT3 Tactical: 8230 Electric Ave, Stanton, CA 90680

Part 1 will take place in the classroom.
Part 2 will take place on the range.

Please arrive at the range 5-10 minutes early and bring all firearms unloaded. 

Gear List:

  • All students must bring their rifle
  • Sling
  • 4 mags
  • 250 rounds of ammo
  • Utility belt that holds mag pouches

Defensive Combat Rifle Workshop – Intermediate & Advanced

Women’s Course

  • 200 rounds of ammunition (NO STEEL CASED AMMO)
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Note taking gear
  • Close toed shoes
  • Clothing to cover chest and neck to avoid hot brass. Optional to cover arms.

CCW White Glove Service

On the day of your meeting you must:

  • Have your camera turned on
  • Have Teamviewer Downloaded on your computer
  • Be in a quiet location
  • Check your email for your personalized Zoom meeting link. 
  • Must send us your TRB CCW Certificate Signed by you and Ernie
  • Must put a couple bullet points for your weekend activities so we can write your good cause and “Uber Driving” is no longer acceptable.
Acceptable Utility Documents:
– Credit report, page one of tax return, lease/rental agreement, tax bill, water/gas/electric/trash/cable bill, cell phone bill
 
These do not qualify as “utility documents”:
– AAA Insurance, auto registration, credit card bills
